1. Rental Period & Late Fees
- Rentals are for 24 hours unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Weekend rentals: Items rented on Friday must be returned by Monday at 12 PM unless extended.
- Late returns will be charged 10% of the rental cost per day until returned.
2. Booking, Deposits & Payment
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- Full payment must be received 48 hours before the rental date to avoid cancellation.
- We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and CashApp (no checks).
- Orders under $100 require full payment upfront.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- 7+ days before rental date: Full refund of deposit.
- 3-6 days before rental date: 50% refund of deposit.
- Less than 48 hours before rental: No refunds.
- Rescheduling: Allowed once, at no extra charge, based on availability.
4. Delivery, Pickup & Setup
- Delivery Fees: Based on location (starting at $50 within Brooklyn). Additional charges apply for locations outside of Brooklyn.
- Setup & Breakdown: Available for an additional charge.
- Customer Pickup: Available for select items. Must provide a valid ID and vehicle suitable for transporting items.
5. Equipment Care & Damage Policy
- The renter is responsible for all equipment from delivery to return.
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
- Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.
- Linens must be shaken free of food/debris before return; otherwise, a $10 per linen cleaning fee applies.
6. Weather & Outdoor Events
- Rentals for outdoor events are at the renter’s own risk.
- No refunds for weather-related cancellations less than 48 hours in advance.
- Tents must be properly secured; damage from wind or rain is the renter’s responsibility.
7. Restricted Uses
- No standing on chairs, tables or furniture.
- No open flames or smoking near rental items.
- Equipment must not be subleased or moved to a different location without permission.
8. Security Deposits & Liability
- Security Deposits: May be required for high-value rentals (fully refundable if no damage occurs).
- Liability: Clutch Rental is not responsible for injuries, property damage or accidents related to rental use.
9. Customer Agreement
By booking with Clutch Rental, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in loss of deposit, additional fees, or refusal of future rentals.
